Where on the door can you use the Wedge-It™ Door stop?

  1. On top of the door

  2. Over the hinge of the door

  3. On the floor

1.) Top of the door:

With the door open to a 90° angle, place the Wedge-It™ on top the door between the door and the door jamb. Wedge-It™ is designed with 4 different settings to fit between the top of the door and the door jamb. This is because of the distance that varies between doors.

2.) Over the hinge pin:

With the door open to a 90° angle, place Wedge-it™ over the hinge between door and the door jamb.

3.) On the floor:

Wedge-It™ can be used on the floor like a traditional wooden or rubber door stop

Pivoting glass doors

Wedge-It™ can also be placed in the opening of metal framed glass doors that pivot at the top and bottom or placed on the floor like a traditional door stop.

Specifications:

  • Ribbed construction for maximum strength while weighing less then 3oz.

  • Virtually indestructible because of LEXAN™ plastic construction, the same as bullet proof glass.

  • Small enough to fit in a pocket, strong enough to hold open the largest of doors, and yet portable enough to hang on a uniform or put in a trauma kit.

  • Four non skid polyurethane pads prevent it from sliding when placed on the top of a door, or on smooth surfaces.

  • Notched to fit over the top of a hinge pin, and a hole is provided to assist with carrying.
